Who We Are
The Wethersfield Chamber of Commerce is a unique chamber in that it represents the oldest town in Connecticut and is a community rich in history. Wethersfield has the honor of being named as a Cultural District a designation bestowed by the State of Connecticut and Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz in July 2022 (read press release), only the fourth town in the state to receive a prominent distinction. In addition to being an effective and vibrant business organization, we further strive to be a community organization. The Chamber hosts a number of events each year including The Spring Car Show, Holidays on Main, BBQ & Beer, State of the Town Annual Breakfast and many more. We also support our young adults in high school by providing annual scholarship opportunities for college. We diligently collaborate with our town and community constituencies and work hard to provide a valuable and resourceful service to our members.
