As an IT consultant for decades, Paul’s focus has now moved mostly toward helping individuals implement residential sustainability practices.  His recommendations and tips are based on extensive first-hand experience with renovating his own Wethersfield home that was featured in a 1.2M view YouTube video. His project included ditching all gasoline costs and natural gas bills as he went all-electric in 2022.  His family’s reasons for this transition were to achieve better efficiency and long-term control of their utility and transportations costs.  He has also eliminated the maintenance headaches associated with generators.  Paul also met his goal of eliminating the fuss needed for comfortable daily living.  Examples include automated indoor and outdoor lighting, the peace of mind knowing that their garage door is closed, and the very simple-to-operate but affordable advance security system.
