Wethersfield Library offers online access to free expert job coaching through Brainfuse, Inc.’s JobNow!. JobNow! provides live interactive online help combined with online resources to guide users through the necessary tasks to get a job. JobNow! provides an extensive collection of resources including resume/cover letter templates, interview tips, general sample interview questions and a vast array of online resources and links.
Wethersfield Library card holders can access JobNow! seven days a week from 3 to 11 p.m. EST, either from public computers in Wethersfield Library or from home by following the JobNow! link on the Library's homepage at www.wethersfieldlibrary.org. Spanish speaking coaches are also available during the same hours.
The JobNow! coaches are available to help people with any and all job search related questions. All coaches possess four year college degrees, undergo a rigorous training process and must complete a full background check. In addition to helping beginning job seekers pinpoint their desired career field, coaches can also provide constructive suggestions on resumes, help write a professional cover letter and give live interview practice and feedback.
Don't have time for live resume help? Simply submit your resume at any time of the day through JobNow!’s Resume Lab and a job coach will send it back to you within 24 hours with detailed feedback and suggestions for improvement.
